Welcome to A Lovenote.
A weekly digest where I say hello and share. You’ll find things you can cook this week + some things you didn’t ask for but might enjoy. I’m so glad you are here!
Hello, Beautiful!
How are you? The last time I wrote to you, I was in Mexico, and now I’m coming to you from Orlando for Sadie’s volleyball tournament. It’s been a whirlwind of a month—a big, beautiful blur! Can you believe April is already here? How has the start of spring been for you?
Lately, I’ve been feeling the shift in seasons, and I have to say—this quote sums it up perfectly for me.
But in all seriousness, last week, I opened up on Instagram about my struggles with seasonal depression. I hide it well, and while it’s not debilitating, I definitely don’t feel like me in the winter months. One thing I’ve learned, though, is how to prioritize my health—both physically and mentally. When I feel off, I know it’s time to double down on the simple (but powerful) strategies that bring me back to center.
For me, that means:
🌞 Getting outside early to move my body and soak up some morning sunlight—it’s an instant mood booster and helps regulate my sleep.
🏋️♀️ Moving every. single. day. Even when my energy is low, I focus on gentle movement to keep my body feeling good.
🥑 Prioritizing mood-boosting foods—think omega-3s, fiber, and nutrient-dense meals that help my body and brain function at their best.
Spring always brings a renewed sense of energy, and I find myself more motivated to push my workouts, lift heavier, and challenge myself in new ways. Can you relate?
That’s exactly why I put together a 5-Day Spring Reset for our community! I want to show you how I prioritize my midlife health—not just for a season, but for the years ahead. This self-directed program is delivered straight to your inbox and will guide you through the how and why behind the key pillars of wellness: nutrition, movement, mindset, and sleep.
✨ If this sounds like what you need right now, I’d love for you to join us! It’s FREE, and you can sign up here.
And in other exciting news—I officially completed my Menopause Coaching Certification! 🎉
I’ve learned so much about this stage of life, and as I build out my coaching program, I want to connect with YOU.
I’m offering free 15-minute Breakthrough Calls to help me understand what’s on your heart when it comes to menopause, midlife health, and designing the next chapter of your life. These sessions will help shape my offerings, but more importantly, they’re an opportunity for you to gain an actionable shift that can help you right now.
Let’s ground into what’s possible—not just for your health, but for every part of your life.

Exploring what I've discovered across the web this week...
HABITS. After listening to this podcast episode, I am changing the timing of when I consume my breakfast. 🤯 We all know that women aren’t just smaller men, but who else out there has watched their (male) partner crush a morning workout while fasted and see amazing results, meanwhile, you feel just tired and wired see zero results? I highly encourage you to listen to this episode!
SCROLLING. Did you hear about the colour of spring? I love it. For home and fashion. And for your daily dose of serotonin, I introduce you to Pancake, the Bulldog.
LISTENING. Dolly’s tribute If you hadn’t been there to her husband Carl.
READING. Why the spring equinox is the best time to go after your goals. And this essay on ageing stopped me in my tracks.
SHOPPING. I absolutely love this cotton dress. I love outfits that are easy, comfortable and look like you tried harder than you did. This crew sweater t-shirt from Abercrombie looks way more expensive than it is and is the perfect transition piece for a steal. Always a fan of classically cool denim. This perfect jersey button down is currently in my cart.
WATCHING. I came across Later Daters on Netflix and it sounds terribly dumb but just the thing to totally decompress. Has anyone watched White Lotus : Season 3? I can’t seem to find it. Do we need to subscribe to yet another service to watch it in Canada!? And most recently on my radar is the mini-series Adolescence on Netflix. It is supposed to be a real life account of toxic masculinity being exposed to boys through social media. Let me know if you’ve seen it! I’m going to try to watch that this week.
FOOD. Still obsessing with my Inspired Go salad delivery service. The salads are fresh, delicious and affordable. I am thrilled to be partnering with them. This week is the LAST week to use my code 20% off. 20CHRISTIE. So many of you have ordered and I love hearing that you love them as much as I do!
Here are some delicious recipes to try that bring in that gorgeous spring produce: asparagus, lemon, artichokes, arugula
This week’s meal prep plan 03.30.2025
If you are on a mission to eat more protein like so many of us, I thought I would offer up a few suggestions that you can actually make in advance and store for quick grab-and-go options all week long.
These options keep things interesting, are simple to make and won’t compromise flavour or nutritional value.
I’m excited for you to grab these recipes, spend some time today prepping these meals so you set yourself up for a successful and easeful (and high protein!) week ahead!
