Hi, I’m Christie!

I’m a mom on the go, with 3 growing kids, a busy husband and dog named Lady. I love to share my creativity through food. Yoga is what keeps me sane. Thanks for visiting my little corner of the internet!

I started Christie’s Lovestory during one of the Covid lockdowns. I had been making a million meals and snacks a day for what felt like years. Sharing my kitchen creations online allowed me to connect with people beyond our family’ bubble.

I love to share my experiments, successes and some failures too, in the kitchen! I’ve got 4 very different mouths to feed. Besides recipes and kitchen tips, you’ll find yoga, parenting and mindfulness content.

Perfection is not the goal

I understand what it’s like to love cooking but also that it can be a relentless task. Whether you love to cook or you do it out of necessity, I hope these recipes will provide you with some inspiration and calm around the dinner table.

Now that normal (ish!) life has resumed, I’ve started teaching yoga again. I found yoga during a time in my life of extreme stress and anxiety. Yoga has taught me what it is to feel strong, calm and free.
