Early Menopause hit me like a ton of bricks.
The summer I turned 38, I gained weight (all around my middle), was constantly exhausted and couldn’t think straight. I thought I had early -onset dementia! When my doctor informed me it was ‘just menopause’, I knew I couldn’t just accept this as my new normal.
I researched everything I could about menopause and slowly learned how to re-establish my hormonal equilibrium. I lost the weight, began sleeping again and could finally see the forest for the trees - but it wasn’t about the weight. It was about finding myself again, rediscovering who I was in this new phase of life and learning to love it!
